About Holistic Human

Our core beliefs are firmly founded in our holistic view of the human experience, not from strictly a historical, sociological, or materialistic one, but also from a spiritual understanding of the human story. 

• We believe in the benefits of modern medicine, which when used appropriately, skillfully, and with targeted accuracy can be life saving. 
• We believe that holistic medicine (complementary or integrative), should not be considered alternative, but rather the mainstay of prevention & recovery.  
• We believe in the scientific method, but also that there are things outside our realm of understanding and experience, which science may never explain. 
• We believe that in our attempts to practice evidence-based medicine, we have unfortunately subjected our intellect to the tyranny of algorithmic pharmaceutical industry driven decision-making practices, and in doing so, we have lost much of the art and dynamic science of holistically taylored patient-centered care. 
• We believe that the tendency of mainstream experts to dismiss myriads of patient testimonies and case reports about the benefits of alternative medicine, as simple anecdotal evidence, while readily accepting the claims of pharmaceutical companies, has been to the detriment of our patients and the medical community as a whole. 
• We believe that for humanity to have a healthy and sustainable future, the healthcare system needs to diverge from the currently failing  biomedical-pharmaceutical industrial model and move towards a more holistic one. Doing so will result in better patient health and satisfaction as well as more fulfillment for medical providers (nurses, doctors, mid-levels, etc.). 
• We believe that the Big Bang and Evolutionary theories do not explain the origin of matter, the existence of primordial life, or one's sense of self. 
• We believe that one can never be truly whole without understanding their spiritual origin, their temporary earthly nature, and their eternal destiny. 
• We believe that humans are 3 part beings. We are spirits (metaphysical beings), we have a soul (mind, will, & emotions), and we live in a body (outer physical shell). 
• We believe that life is a gift, with meaning and purpose. That life goes on beyond the limitations of time, space, and our five senses.
• We believe that life in the physical realm did not occur by accident, but rather was the creative product of a higher power with a conscious mind, whose energy and light permeate the entire universe, sustaining it and keeping it in balance.
• We believe that this Higher Power (God) engages with human kind and can be known or experienced on a personal level.
• We believe in the triune nature of God as an indivisible, yet individually distinct 3-part union of the Parent God (Father) , the Incarnate Offspring (Son) , & the Ever-Present Companion (Holy Spirit) , and that this Trinity represents a model for internal (body-mind-spirit) and external (individual-family-societal) balance and cohesion.  
• We believe that humankind was created as the perfect untainted mirror reflection (physical image) of the spiritual (metaphysical) Godhead (Trinity),  but that the influence of darker forces led to the fracturing of that perfect image and of the disorderd evolution of our environment. 
• We believe that despite our inborn (natural) or social (nurtured) flaws, it is God's will that we prosper (thrive) and be in health, even as our soul prospers (body follows & reflects spirit). 
• We believe that the metaphysical (spiritual or ethereal) realm is the underpinning of the physical (material) realm and that embracing this reality is key to understanding life and to living balanced, healthy, and fulfilling lives.
• We believe that miracles, or seemingly impossible health and wellness transformations are possible for those who believe and put their faith and knowledge into practice. 
• We believe that the incredibly common incidence of so-called placebo effects, which occur as a result of a patient’s belief in the benefits of a treatment, often regardless of its therapeutic potency, are among the most profound, yet understudied, and least understood phenomena in modern medicine. Hence, although more research is needed on this phenomenon, it is imperative that we recognize and embrace the incredible power of mind over matter that we possess when it comes to our most valuable possessions - our bodies. 

We pray that you come to know and embrace your true identity as a beautiful spirit being, fully known and loved by your Creator.

We pray that you learn to care for your body as one does for a sacred temple, for though temporary, it is the earthly home of your eternal spirit and the vessel through which God works on earth.

We pray that you come to know supernatural serenity and perfect peace, the kind that transcends space, time, and the temporary worries of this earthly realm.

We pray that you find a healthy holistic balance between your spirit, mind, and body that ushers you into a state of total wellness.

We pray that you learn and practice the skill of transforming yourself through the continual renewal of your mind and that you harness the power of the mind-body connection in achieving and maintaining optimal health.

We pray that you prosper and be in perfect health, even as your soul prospers and is in health, for this benefits you as well as others.

Finally, we pray that the Great Eternal Spirit, the Higher Power, the Creator God, who is the Source of all Light and Love, would bless you, keep you, shine upon you, be gracious to you, and give you peace that passes all human understanding, so that you would have more than enough light, love, and energy to share a wellspring of living water to the world.
